Brush Fire


Sunday, April 12, 2015 Earlier today, Sunday April 12th, at 2:30 P.M. the Kendall Park Volunteer Fire Company responded to Tulsa Court for a reported brush fire. On arrival Deputy Chief 230 found half an acre of brush burning with extension to an abandoned structure. Brush Truck 224 & Engine 221 arrived on scene shortly after and made a quick knock down on the fire involving the brush and abandoned structure.  Mutual aid came from the Monmouth Junction Volunteer Fire Department and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. Units that responded to the scene included Engine 221,Truck 223, and Brush Truck 224. Monmouth Junction Vol. Fire Department  supplied Engine 206 and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service responded with multiple brush trucks.
